May Afternoon

Since part of the reason I started writing this blog was to show my far-flung friends "what it's like to be living in Kansas," here is a picture of what we do for fun on spring afternoons:



As you can see, it is loads of fun:



Yesterday, there were actually seven kids in our driveway from about 4:30 til dinner. The two big boys were riding their bikes back and forth down driveways trying to do jumps on the curbs. The four girls were alternating between launching rockets on the stomp rocket launcher and throwing a frisbee (and getting it stuck in trees). Kid #7 was Baby Z, who was just taking it all in!
