Though it's no 2008, I always love election day.
The first election I voted in after having kids was when we were living in California in 2003. It was the recall election of Gov. Gray Davis. This was the one where Gary Coleman was a candidate? Crazy stuff. Arnold Schwarzenegger was elected. We voted, no joke, in someone's garage.
And here's a picture of me and Noodle from October 2008, watching Obama speak at a campaign event in Kansas City. We decided not to brave the crowds and instead to watch it from my office window.
