Tomorrow is Veteran's Day.

It is also the second grade music program. I cannot wait to attend and see the Squash belt out his patriotic best. He has performed the national anthem for me a couple times and let's just say he inherited his mom and dad's musical genes. Which are sparse.

But I am so very glad that I get to attend this program! I was on bed rest for the first grade music program (in fact, you might argue that my participation in making scenery for the first grade program was part of what landed me on bed rest, but I digress), and I didn't get to go. Not only was I not there for the singing, but I also missed Noodle face-planting in the parking lot later, gushing blood, and having to be rushed back inside (against the flow of outgoing people-traffic) to be cleaned up. OK, I'm less sad about missing that.
